Skylost

Skylost is a 3D narrative driven exploration game about searching for a lost loved one. The game’s protagonist must traverse a vast floating archipelago, Finding ways to cross each island by crafting tools, combating monsters, and uncovering clues as to the fate of your loved one. The game’s aesthetic is inspired by games such as Rime.

As an art producer on Skylost, I served as a key member of the production team, as well as one of the art leads. I supported the director by conducting regular evaluations of the game's progress which influenced how I prioritized tasks. I ran weekly art team meetings, and individual check-ins with all members of the art, animation, tech art, and UI/UX teams.

As the art lead, I was directly in charge of making sure the game's concept art, 3D models and assets, rigging, texturing, animation, shaders, UI, and VFX all got made and implemented on time and exactly to specs. I corresponded with the other producers, leads, and the director to make sure we were all on the same page delivering the art for the project on time and on budget.
